Is every written letter pronounced in your language? Or sometimes it is, and sometimes it's not? Does it depend on the position of the letter within the word? Does it depend on the part of speech?
In French, the final letters of nouns and adjectives are sometimes pronounced (see the help section about
Pronunciation / The final consonant is often silent).
Usually, the final "e" of verbs in the singular and in the third person plural is not pronounced.
The letters "s", "t", "d", "ns", "z", and "nt", are not pronounced either. These are silent letters when it comes to pronunciation.
