Getting acquainted with the document
- Try to figure out what kind/type of document you're dealing with (a website? an ad? a poster?).
- Try to grasp the document as a whole. Don't try to understand it word for word, and don't try to know the meaning of each word before moving on to the next. Answer the following questions in your mind: what kind of information is given? To whom is it addressed?
